Enjoy a short privately guided introduction to Manila to have a glimpse of Philippine history and culture before transferring to the airport for your flight to Bohol. Ideal for first-time visitors or guests who want to get acquainted (or reacquainted) with their Filipino heritage.

The tour begins at the walled city of Intramuros which was built by Spanish colonisers during the 16th century. The first stop is at the historic Fort Santiago which was a fortress built of the conquistador Miguel Lopez de Legazpi and became the seat of military power during the Spanish, American and Japanese colonial periods.

The second stop is at the San Agustin Church which was completed in 1607 by the Augustinians. San Agustin has the distinction of being the oldest standing church in the Philippines. There is also a museum which exhibits artifacts from the bygone Spanish era.

Proceed to the NAIA domestic terminal for your flight to Bohol. Arrive in Bohol-Panglao International Airport and transfer to the resort. Overnight at your resort of choice. 

Breakfast at the resort. Meet with your guide at the resort and go on a tour of Bohol’s rich countryside.

The tour begins with a visit to the Blood Compact Shrine, a historical landmark commemorating the first treaty of friendship between the Philippines and Spain.

The tour then proceeds to Baclayon Church which was completed in 1727, uniquely built with coral stones.

From there, continue on to the lush Mahogany Man-Made Forest and the green farmlands of Bilar and Batuan. In Bilar, the tour stops at the Bohol Butterfly Farm.

Proceed on to one of the breathtaking natural wonders, the Chocolate Hills. Made of limestone, the 1,776 mounds of limestone dot the horizon for kilometers on end.

Drive back to Loboc for a 50-minute river cruise along nipa-lined river on board a native catamaran while being serenaded by local singers. A sumptuous barbecue lunch is served on board. The river cruise will surely relax both your body and mind as you view nature’s beauty of rolling hills, graceful coconut trees and green nipa-palms lining the riverbanks. 

After the cruise, we head back to Tagbilaran with a stop at the Philippine Tarsier Research Center & Sanctuary to view the tarsiers, one of the smallest mammals in existence.

Return to the resort in the afternoon. Rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight at your resort of choice.

Breakfast at the resort. You will be picked-up at the resort by your guide for today’s aquatic adventure. 

The tour begins with a leisurely boatride from your resort to the small island of Pamilacan — a designated marine sanctuary in the heart of the Visayan Sea. Known as a rich breeding ground for mantas, whales and dolphins, it is not unknown to spot these creatures from time to time while travelling to the island.

Pamilacan was also a Spanish watch station which guarded the water passages against pirates and enemies. An old Spanish stone fort still stands on the island as a remembrance of the colonial period. The island is blessed with rich white sand and azure blue waters where visitors can take a dip and enjoy a relaxing day.

Lunch will be served on the island.

Return to the resort in the afternoon. Rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight at the resort of choice.

OPTIONAL: End your day with dinner at Bohol Bee Farm before cruising the tranquil Abatan River at dusk. Watch thousands of fireflies shimmer among the mangroves onboard a motorised ‘sampan’ by the river— an enchanting and unforgettable finale to your Bohol countryside experience. A totally different sight especially for urban dwellers.

Return to the resort in the late evening. Overnight at the resort of choice. 

Breakfast at the resort. Check-out and transfer to the Bohol-Panglao International Airport for the flight to Manila.

Arrive in Manila and transfer to the NAIA for your outbound international flight or to your hotel (if you opt for an extra night in Manila).
