Sinag Travel Privacy Policy

Last updated 25 September 2026

Sinag Travel is operated by The 7641 Pty Ltd (ABN 12 672 766 871), based in Melbourne. We arrange Philippine holidays, including customised itineraries and our Signature Journeys.

This policy explains how we handle your information when you browse our website, contact us or book with us. We follow the privacy laws that apply to our business, including applicable Australian Privacy Principles and Victorian health privacy requirements.

1 What we collect

We collect information needed to answer enquiries and arrange travel: your name and contact details; travel dates, preferences and budget; booking and payment records; and traveller, passport and emergency contact details where required.

Information usually comes from you through our website, email, phone or messages. We may also receive it from your authorised booking organiser, suppliers or payment providers.

You can make general enquiries anonymously where practical, but we need accurate details to make bookings. Without necessary information, we may be unable to arrange a requested service.

2 Health information and other travellers

If we need allergy, mobility, accessibility or other sensitive information to arrange your holiday, we explain why and seek your express consent, unless the law permits otherwise. We share only what the relevant supplier needs and do not use health information for marketing. You can withdraw consent to future handling; we will explain any effect on your arrangements.

Get permission before providing another person’s details and share this policy with them, including emergency contacts. Another adult’s sensitive information requires their consent or legally authorised consent. For children unable to consent, we seek parent or guardian consent.

3 How we use and share information

We use information to prepare quotes, customise holidays, make bookings, manage payments and changes, send travel updates, assist during disruptions, resolve complaints and meet legal obligations.

Relevant details are shared with our Philippine travel partners, including Rajah Tours Philippines when handling your arrangements, and accommodation, airline, ferry, transfer, tour and activity providers. Our authorised support team in the Philippines may also access booking information.

We may disclose information to advisers, insurers or authorities where necessary and lawful. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

4 Payments and instalments

Payments are processed by the providers identified at checkout or on your invoice. We keep transaction records, not full card numbers or security codes. We may request bank details for a refund.

For agreed Signature Journey instalments, we record payment amounts and due dates. These arrangements do not require a credit check or credit card. Your booking documents explain the payment terms.

5 Marketing and photographs

An enquiry, booking or competition entry does not automatically subscribe you to promotions. We send marketing only with the consent required by law. Unsubscribe through the message or contact us; email and SMS requests are actioned within five working days. Necessary booking updates may continue.

We seek separate permission to use identifiable traveller photos, videos or testimonials. You can withdraw permission for future use, although distributed printed material cannot always be recalled. Competition terms explain how entries, winner announcements and any publicity are handled.

6 Cookies and website services

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Our website may use them for login, booking and security features. We also collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring website and pages visited.

We use Burst Statistics to understand how visitors use our website and improve it. Its first-party cookie, burst_uid, stores a randomly generated visitor identifier to recognise returning browsers and measure activity such as pages viewed and time on the site. The cookie is set to expire after 30 days. Burst analytics data is stored on our website’s hosting server.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, although this may affect some website features. Blocking cookies does not necessarily stop other collection of technical information.

Embedded videos, social media and other external services may collect information under their own privacy policies. Avoid putting private booking details in public comments.

7 Keeping information safe

We keep information in our booking, communication and business records, limit access to authorised people and take reasonable steps to protect it. We retain it only as long as needed for bookings, legitimate business purposes or legal requirements, then securely delete, destroy or de-identify it.

If a data breach occurs, we investigate, take action and notify affected people and regulators where legally required.

8 Your choices and privacy concerns

Contact us to access or correct your information, request deletion or make a privacy complaint. We may verify your identity and may need to retain some records by law. We aim to respond within 30 days and follow applicable legal timeframes. If we cannot fulfil a request, we explain why and how to complain.

Requests and corrections are free. Any lawful access charge will be explained beforehand. If a complaint takes longer to investigate, we will keep you informed.

9 Policy updates

We publish updates at sinagtravel.com.au with a revised date. We seek fresh consent where required; an update does not replace that consent.
